[02 Nov 2006|08:37am] We apparently shouldn't consume hydrogenated oil, sugar, high fructose corn syrup, enriched flour, or bleached flour. The only problem is, what's left that's any good? I'm keenly aware that you get very little nutritional value from those things, but it's so difficult to avoid eating things like pizza, doughnuts, and ice cream when they're sold on every street corner. Our culture makes it seem like it's totally possible to drink 500-calorie coffee drinks and consume 1000-calorie burgers, and still maintain a slim figure. 1 comment|post comment

[20 Sep 2006|01:34am] i was just watching conan o'brien and he had caroline rhea as a guest, and she was so bad. she said so many inappropriate, unfunny things. and the biggest loser premieres tomorrow, but she never mentioned it--conan did at the end. i'm actually kinda excited about the biggest loser starting up again. they apparently have 50 people, one from each state. post comment
